We were honored to have been chosen to document this intimate wedding at La Lomita Ranch for George and Joyce at La Lomita Ranch in San Luis Obispo. They are such a beautiful couple and their joy was contagious as we worked alongside them throughout the day.
On the agenda: incorporating our timeless wedding photography aesthetic with the stunning Spanish ranch-style venue. We were so excited to work alongside some of California’s most talented wedding vendors to make this happen.
About La Lomita Ranch
Let’s start with the venue. La Lomita is a 160-acre ranch right in the middle of the most picturesque setting. Talk about a gorgeous California backdrop for your wedding photography. It’s full of old-school Spanish charm, like you’ve stepped back into Colonial times. Surrounded by vineyards and hills this is the perfect place to say “I do.”
ABOUT THE SAN LUIS OBISPO AESTHETIC
With a venue like this, full of rich architectural accents, intricately patterned tiles, and lush landscape, you really don’t need much to make that elegant wedding vibe pop. The white linen and dishes, along with the rustic chairs look perfect against the lively backdrop and florals.
Speaking of florals, we are obsessed with these arrangements. The vibrant colors with a touch of white and pink, blend perfectly with the rustic scenery. And look at how nicely they photograph against the beautiful invitations.
THE BRIDE AND GROOM
The bride and groom portraits in this shoot came out flawless. The silhouette of the bride’s stunning dress, the soft natural look of the skin tone, and the way those California sunset rays were captured is pure perfection.
