With classic white décor and accents of leafy foliage, Garret and Abigail’s day was that of a traditional dream. The delicate details of the day, such as the florals, stationary, and bridal gown, created an elegant 1920s feel among an intimate crowd of guests. Abigail’s wedding dress, by designer Daalarna Couture, had the most intricate scalloped lace details that perfectly complemented Abigail’s beautiful features. The pops of sage color among the crisp designs tied beautifully with the outdoor proceedings for the special day. This is truly one incredible wedding in The Rolling Hills of Aptos.
A Luxury Wedding in The Rolling Hills of Aptos at La Lomita Ranch
As the bridal party got ready, Abigail and her family engaged in sweet moments with close loved ones. These will certainly be cherished forever. We were pleased to be able to capture these moments throughout the day. It was delightful to see so much family love emanating from everyone on this magical wedding day. As Garret and his groomsmen got dressed, it was clear that their style was soft and timeliness, yet sharply defined. They shared laughter and amusement as they prepared for the ceremony to commence.
Before the ceremony, Abigail and her father shared a tearful first look to appreciate the cherished feelings of the day. As the ceremony proceeded, live music was played to set the elegant tone. The aisle was cloaked with white roses that corresponded appropriately with the sprigs of baby’s breath as the wedding party made their way.
As Abigail made her way down the walkway to her future husband, she met Garret under the unkempt oak trees that he himself picked out as their ceremony site. And the wild and overgrown scene surrounding these two was their exact vision for this beautiful union. Lastly, as the ceremony neared the end, Garret lifted Abigail’s traditional veil cover to finalize the joining union with a kiss.
An Intimate Wedding At The Luxury La Lomita Ranch
Garret and Abigail gleefully walked down the aisle together as they were beaming with joy. We were thrilled to relive these blissful expressions of joy in the photographs we captured. After the ceremony concluded, we were happy to document Abigail and Garret in front of their family’s vintage VW Van. This added the perfect hint of wanderlust to their beautiful pictures. And as we wrapped up their portraits, the couple shared playful embraces near the family’s olive orchard amongst the stunning scenery of this private estate in Aptos, California.
Garret and Abigail joined the reception, and following a grand entrance, the newlyweds were seated with a beautiful backdrop showcasing the family’s outdoor stone fireplace. As the champagne was poured for toasts, the guests prepared for the lovely sentiments to be shared.
The first dance as husband and wife was performed under the garden gazebo that was so aptly encased with vines. As the night continued, the couple cut their 4-tier cake adorned with springs of greenery. And then, once dancing and celebrations continued, we prepared to document Garret and Abigail’s dreamy sparkler exit.
It was a wondrous day that we were grateful to be involved in. And in the face of adversity, Garret and Abigail were able to create a wedding worthy of a dream. Sadly, they had to reschedule their wedding 3 times due to the pandemic. But, Abigail noted that not only were they determined to proceed with a wedding, but the final event was better than she could have imagined. And we agree that the ending to their wedding day story was a happy and perfect one!
